5

a slow easy 5. my left leg was feeling strained, so i took it really easy tonight. i'm sure it is because of yesterday's run. tomorrow is a rest day, and much needed before the 10k on saturday.

bought some more vanilla gu gels to prepare for the long runs that are coming. i think the vanilla is my favorite flavor.
also, some more bodyglide. do you use it? it is great stuff - works good on feet too.

I haven't seen GU here but we have other similar stuff, which I have tried, though I find the texture a little hard to get used to.

I like vanilla best too. Have never used body glide.

I look forward to the time when I can call 5 "slow and easy!" I've never used Body Glide, though a couple folks have raved about it. Not to the point of needing gels, but I think I'd have trouble w/ the texture, too.

the texture is hard to get used to, but it really seems to help me on my long runs. i always have water to wash it down, which helps a little.
