blueberry muffins (made with whole wheat flour) for breakfast today. i had oatmeal. i soaked it last night, so it would be ready today. you can read more about why and how to do that here. i'm trying to eat better lately. i really started to notice once i got in my 30's that i just can't eat whatever i want anymore. i also noticed i have to work a lot harder to lose weight. it's been kind of a sad realization for me. so, i'm reading lots of books and trying to make some life style changes.
i had a great 4 mile run this morning and now i'm off to repaint someone's fingernails. ☺

mmmm! goimg to go check out the link. you're so right about it getting harder to loose weight. i had a great metabolism until around 35. now i'm 38 and i kid you not, i have to really work now to loose weight. i gained 3lbs AFTER Christmas from all sorts of things going on and now i'm having to bust bottom to get it off! i could feel those extra 3 when i started running this month. ugh. aging... i can't wait for that perfect body in heaven! but i'm going to do much better to treat this one like a temple (what's left of it!)

Me too. (About the whole can't eat whatever you want anymore- at least, not without some serious consequences!)
I made it to 34 but it's so true: I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted, as much of it and whenever I wanted and it never really mattered. NO LONGER. All of a sudden I'm seeing it and feeling all chubby and seeing more rolls. Ugh.
So I bought a treadmill and I'm trying to do something about it.
