i usually don't weigh myself, but this week i did. i weighed myself on monday. i have worked out everyday this week, and have been making healthy food choices. this morning when i stepped on the scale, i expected to see a change. nothing...zero. no loss. no gain. ugh, so frustrating and disappointing. now i remember why i don't weigh myself on a regular basis. i know there are lots of reasons for the ups and downs and the number reflected on the scale, but it's still frustrating.
the good news (and probably most important thing) is - i've been consistent this week, and i feel better. the plan for this coming week is to do more of the same, but add in more jillian. i'm also planning on writing down what i eat. it's not going to be something i do forever, just for now.
obviously, i won't be able to keep this up when we are on vacation, but i am going to try to exercise everyday while we're gone. maybe i'll eat less cheesecake then i did on the last cruise?! ha!
sunday the kids want to make a nice dinner for dad and decorate the table for valentine's day. we bought him the cd he has been wanting: one of our favorite singers! have you heard of him??

I've been weighing myself too much too and getting frustrated that I'm not seeing the number go down.
Patience and persistence and a little sweat.
I know how frustrating that can be looking at the scale after you've been so good this week. I have to keep reminding myself that the health benefits are really what's important not the number on the scale. But that part of my mind often looses to the other side that expects that number to drop if I've been good. And I know it will happen if I'm consistent. Have a good weekend!
I have not weighed myself in about 18 months. I even turn my head when I go to the doctor so that I do not see the number. It is that, just a number.
I base things on how my clothes fit and how I feel.
I bet you are so excited about vacation coming up! Good job on eating healthy and exercising all week!
never heard of him but his voice is fabulous. sounds a little like shawn mcdonald. your picture is gorgeous!!
That scale can be frustrating! Don't let it bother you too much.
Writing down everything you eat is a great way to cut down on excess! I have done that a few times. If I knew I was writing everything down today, I would have skipped that one potato chip I just ate as I was passing by the kitchen, for instance!
I did it, Wendy! 6 days of exercise! Thanks for the challenge! :) God bless you! Hope you are having a fabulous monday!

Really similar here. My first week on the treadmill (6 days of working out), better food choices, and my loss was 0.4
Nice. At least it was down, but... still.
Now- three weeks in I'm down 2.8 lbs, so that feels better. :) Hopefully it will keep going in that direction.
