::my favorite tree. we always drive by this on our way to see our parents. it sits in the middle of nowhere w/a hammock. i ♥ it! (speaking of hammocks...when we move, we will get to use the one we've had forever, but never had a good spot for.)

it was a great weekend! on saturday, i went to the women's seminar at our church. it was challenging, encouraging, and convicting - a good mix. so thankful for my church family!
saturday afternoon and evening was spent celebrating my niece and nephew's birthdays. the kids love being with their cousins. they spent most of the day jumping on the trampoline. they had so much fun.

i got 4 miles in on sunday. the weather has been just perfect for running. i wish i could find time to run everyday.

today i started doing a little packing. i'm getting so excited to move. this is the longest i have ever lived in one place in my life, so i'm ready to move on. i do want to get to the place where i don't get antsy after living in one place for a few years, and ready for a change. it seems to be so much a part of who i am because it is all i have ever known, but i really want to be content with where i am, and put some roots down. i can see that there is something really wonderful about going home as an adult to where you grew up and always lived. i have no idea what that's like, but i get a glimpse of it, since steve has it. our kids are playing in the same yard he did as a kid, and playing with some of the same toys.
