oh january, you are a hard month. it is -1 here this morning and gloomy. a perfect morning to make waffles.

we love this recipe:
2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs
4 t. baking powder
2 1/2 c. flour (i use some whole wheat)
2 T. sugar
1 t. vanilla

i doubled the recipe today, so i could put some in the freezer.

-1?! I'd definitely be running on the treadmill like I did today and it was way up (!) in the 20's, I think. TM's are the best on freezing days!

Waffles - one of my favorite foods!

I have been treadmilling it all week. I hate when it is so cold!

I love making waffles. I am going to try out your recipe, I am getting a little bored with the one I have. I like to add chocolate chips to mine on every once in a while. Okay, so it has been all the time lately, but who is keeping track!

It's hard when it's just SO cold! But those waffles look delish and I'm sure that warmed you guys right up! Don't forget copious amounts of hot chocolate!
