yay! the basement bedroom is finished! it has been a big job. we had water in the basement last summer and had to replace the carpet, baseboards, and repaint. steve also built this closet, since there wasn't one. i love how it turned out!
we used carpet tiles for this room. they are super easy to install and i think they look really good. 
hoping to get 10 miles in today.

It looks great! Ken and I road our bikes last night and he showed me how he tied his shoes. He had checked out your blog from the link I have saved on our computer and saw your posting about tucking the shoelaces instead the threads. It thought it was a genious idea! He says thanks!

love the color! i've not heard of carpet tiles, but it sounds great! replace a dirty or stained one easily, huh? love that idea if it works!
