ran 3. finding this week to be tough to get miles in. busy w/baseball and planning a bday for our baby (she can still be called baby at 4, right?!).

i am faithfully doing my jillian shred on the days i don't run. i am pretty sore from it today. i wonder if the kids are? they have been doing it w/me and using soup cans as their weights. it is so cute! i need to get a picture of it.

I have done the shred twice now...the beginning level. It definitely worked muscles in my glutes and upper thighs that I must not used as much when running--I have been sore! I am wanting to try the level 2 now...I can withstand more cardio and more abdomen work...the strength part on the beginning level was challenging though. I really like it. My kids have been doing it with me, too. My oldest daughter has really been excited about doing it on her own!

I was just about to ask you guys what you thought of Jillian, I have just ordered the 30 day shred (saw a great offer on it!), is it really hard and how long are the sessions?

There are 3 levels. I think they are all 20 minutes long. It has been somewhat of a challenge for me, because I am using muscles I don't use as often. I really like it though!

20 mins sounds just about right for me. My usual DVD is 45 mins which I find too long.
