::the kids love our chalkboard wall. if we move, i'll have to paint another somewhere.

i ran today. can you believe it?! it has been f.o.r.e.v.e.r.
i wish i could say it was a great 5 miles.
the first 2 miles i tried to run like tina. i felt pretty good until i stopped and then my legs started to tighten up.
the last 3 miles were tough. i slowed down, and i stopped to stretch twice. i'm glad i went though. the hardest part is always getting out the front door, especially after taking a break.
so, it begins again. i'm starting from zero all over again.
isn't it crazy how fast you can get out of shape and lose endurance?!

the weather is so nice right now - perfect for running. i am so thankful to be off the treadmill!

**in other news, my friend jenn is giving my blog a make-over. i can't wait to show you!!!

wow, what a random blog i have! you never know what you'll read here, i guess.

Thanks ladies! :)

Kate, our house is on the market. Someone is coming back for the 2nd time tonight, so that's a good sign.

That was nice of you and Kate, too! : )

Running, after having time off from it, is hard. The good thing is that you know that it gets easier.

And a 5 mile run isn't too shabby, either! In fact, that's great!

It really isn't fair how fast the fitness leaves and hard long it takes to get it back! 5 miles is really good for just staring over!
