A friend of mine baked muffins and left out bottles of water in a pretty basket for anyone coming to see her house. She says it helped her house smell yummy and homey, and the counter was inviting. She also said that the realtor told her that the people stayed a while, just sitting at her counter talking and eating. It was like they could see themselves living there. Sounds like a good idea.
