on the schedule for this week was: 4, 8, 4, 16.
monday - walked 3 miles with my friend sara in the morning. ran 4 that evening. (no more 3 milers on the schedule until right before the marathon now).
tuesday - walked 4.5 miles with hubby. felt like fall.
wednesday - ran 8. walked 4.5 with hubby again that evening.
thursday - ran 4.
friday - the kids were gone for the night, so we decided to go for a long walk. we walked for close to 3 hours! when we got home we looked on mapmyrun to see how far we had gone...10.2 miles. it felt great, but i started doubting that i'd be able to get up and run 16 in the morning.
saturday - no long run for me today. i could tell it should be a rest day.
sunday - crazy busy day. i tried to pack too much into this day. church in the morning, make lunch for everyone, make dessert for church later that night, long run, quick shower, and ended up getting to church a little late that night.
the weather was great for a long run today. the bad part was i only had time to run 10 miles, and i was feeling so good too. i think i will add a few miles to next week's long run to make up for it.

Looks like a great workout week. I'm super impressed with all you fit in on Sunday! I wouldn't worry too much about the missed six miles since you did so much walking throughout the week!
You are chugging right along!
you are doing awesome! I've struggled with my short runs lately due to lack of time. Way to go!
Way to go, it's hard to fit all the training in so well done!
That's a super long walk! Looks like a busy, but good week!
good training!! life doesn't get in the way, it just happens first!! sometimes those runs get cut or skipped for good reasons! :)you're doing GREAt!!
Good job on your training and the walking! Don't feel too guilty about missing the 16 miler. The long walk on Friday will make up for it. Your body only notices the time on your feet and not the pace. 3 hours is definitively a long time and counts for a long run.
Thanks everyone! I'm definitely not feeling marathon ready, but I know I will get there. :)
